Loving it

There's something refreshing about hearing an old Megadrive classic brought into the new century. What can I say. Great song, great mix, great job! Hope to hear more sometime.

Good stuff man

Reminds me of my own ideas early on. Catchy arpeggiated sequence and nice changes of texture with the drums and accompanying instruments. Not a big fan of the phaser at the beginning though and I think the whole mix needs a bit more treble. That's only my taste though, and overall, the track sounds good anyway. Keep it up!

I felt the intro sequence was a bit bland, so the phaser is there for a bit of depth.

And i'll probably add more treble in upcoming tracks, I just liked the deep, bassey feel I got from this lol.

Haven't listened to your stuff for a while man. This is sounding pretty top notch, love the sound of all the synths and the uber compression gives the track a more rhythmic feel as that bass is cutting in. You're obviously using some good techniques the whole piece sounds clear and loud, nice job MK.

Fair play

Respect all round. Good lyrics, good instrumentation and melodies, if maybe a little lo fi but that doesn't matter. Only problem is bit of an overflow of sound. doesn't sound like the mix can handle the bass. As soon as the bass hits, your vocals are distorted and from then on the rest of the frequencies seem to be struggling to stay in the piece without being clipped to death.

Nice

Pretty lush sounding track. Nice and relaxed, I recognise that sound in the background so I'm guessing it's sampled. I think the transitions are fine, I like songs that suprise you with a new verse rather than building up to it.

Which one in the background? I got all the samples from Garageband. Someone else may have used the same sample.

The first time you hear the organ come in (near end when the fast part comes in) its a tad abrupt. I might add a slight fade in.

Sounds like it's coming along niceley. Beefy kick but not to hard, soft snare compliments it nicely. Sweeping pad keeps the piece going. gg
